ARLINGTON FLY-IN WORKSHOP
Welcome to the first step in your composite adventure.
Thomson Aerospace is proud to be offering 3 workshops covering basic composites from Thursday, July 9th to Saturday July 11th at the Arlington Fly-In this year. This is a great way to make your Arlington Fly-In experience the best it can be; by getting hands on training in composites while enjoying a great airshow. There will be a maximum of 10 seats available for these workshops each day so make sure to get your registration in right away.
What you will learn at the workshop: (each workshop covers the same material)

Basic Composite Terminology
- Composite Safety
- Basic Composite drawings
- Basic Composite Procedures
- Individual Projects
- Project planning/preparation
- Wet lay up
- Vacuum Bagging
Workshop hours will be Thursday 10:00-14:00, Friday 10:00-14:00 and Saturday 10:00-14:00. Each workshop will last approximately 3-4hrs. At the end of this workshop you will have a completed project to take home with you to show off and to remind you of what you have learned. Projects can be picked up the day after your workshop at the Thomson Aerospace booth in the exhibitor area (booth #61).

-A brief description of why you would like to be in one of the workshops. Some people come out of curiousity, others want to learn so they can use composites for building.
This is not intended to be an in-depth course in composites but to give you a taste of the composite world. We look forward to seeing you and don't forget to come and see us in Booth #61!
